Miriam: Edie Campbell
Co-founder of LynchPin Theatre, Edie trained at Guildford School of Acting. In 2022 she played Miriam in the European première of Jennifer Fawcett’s Apples in Winter (Playground Theatre, London) for which she was a finalist for the Off West End Award for Solo Performance. Other theatre includes: The Vegan Tigress (Petersfield Museum); Rotten Perfect (Watts Gallery, Surrey); The Women of Lockerbie, An Ideal Husband, Consider This… (Electric Theatre, Guildford); The Wooden O, Road to Mecca, The Misanthrope, Dancing at Lughnasa (all Riverside Theatre, Iowa); Abundance, HIM (University of Iowa Theatres); Wings, Bed Among the Lentils (Liar’s Theatre, Iowa); Look Back in Anger (Pegasus, Oxford). Edie continues to perform LynchPin’s one-woman play Emily Dickinson & I which has toured the UK, Europe and North America. From 2009-19 Edie frequently read and directed for LynchPin’s ScripTease, rehearsed readings of plays old and new.

Director: Claire Parker
In 2022 Claire directed the OFFIE-nominated production of Jennifer Fawcett’s Apples in Winter (Playground Theatre, London). Her career began as a child performer in the West End in Annie and The Sound of Music. She worked extensively on stage and screen including a season at the National Theatre. Theatre includes: The Magistrate, A Collier’s FridayNight, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Paris Match, The Hired Man, A Slice of Saturday Night. TV: Connie, The Knights of God, Boogie Outlaws and guest appearances including Robin of Sherwood, The Refuge, Pulaski and The Bill. Claire moved to France where she ran a dance school, worked as a voice artist and began writing plays. On her return to the UK, Claire began collaborating with LynchPin as a performer, writer and director. Writer: Rotten Perfect (Watts Gallery, Petersfield Museum); When the Cat’s Away (sold-out Southeast tour); and The Vegan Tigress (Petersfield Museum; Bread and Roses Theatre, London) for which she was a London Pub Theatre Standing Ovation Award Finalist: New Writing and an Ettie Awards (everything theatre) Finalist: Best Drama). She directed the UK première of Amelia at the Electric Theatre, Guildford.

Playwright: Jennifer Fawcett
Jennifer is the winner of the NNPN Smith Prize for Political Theatre and the Susan Glaspell Award and was nominated for the Susan Smith Blackburn Prize for Apples in Winter which is published by Original New Works. She is a winner of the NEFA National Theatre Project Award (with Working Group Theatre) for Out of Bounds; the Kennedy Center's National Science Playwriting Award for Atlas of Mud; and the AT-CA/Steinberg New Play Award for Birth Witches. Her plays have been produced in regional theatres across the US, the UK and Canada. She was a co-founder of Working Group Theatre and is the author of two novels: Beneath the Stairs and Keep This For Me.

Stage Manager / Lighting: Elisabeth Tooms
Elisabeth studied law at Oxford University and was involved in student theatrical productions. She directed fringe productions, touring the UK and overseas, then changed direction to work for a City of London law firm. She returned to theatre work, taking commissions as director, stage manager and lighting designer. For LynchPin she has stage-managed Emily Dickinson & I, Cloning Mary Shelley, The Women of Lockerbie, Consider This…, When the Cats Away, Rotten Perfect, Amelia and Old Abe, which she also directed. For many years, Elisabeth was the Stage Manager for Intermission Youth Theatre, London.

Set Designer / Build: Andrew Hodson
Andrew left Guildford School of Acting in 1995. Since then, he has worked in theatre, film and radio, and taught drama at GSA, Guildford College, and Laine Theatre Arts. Andrew has been a part of LynchPin Theatre for well over a decade as a performer and designer.

Voice and Accent Coach: Suzanne Parke
Suzanne has worked with LynchPin as voice coach and performer since 2006. She was Leader of Learning for Peer Productions, Course Leader of BA Hons Acting for Stage and Screen and Head of Voice at Performance Preparation Academy in Guildford. Suzanne is also deeply involved in The Teaching Voice, and delivers comprehensive voice training in the education sector. Her private work, Parke Communication, offers different voice courses, including presentation skills and one-to-one coaching. Suzanne is also a voice-over artist represented by Rhubarb Voices.

Marketing: Philip Parker
Philip initially trained as a scientist before commencing a career in book and magazine publishing. He has many years' experience as an editor, writer and researcher - within charities and pressure groups such as Greenpeace, publishing companies and the corporate sector. The latter included devising and managing the strategy of Royal Mail's award-winning Special Stamp programme, co-curating a major exhibition at The British Library to mark the Millennium and overseeing high-profile publishing projects with organisations ranging from the WWF to the BBC, from David Bowie to The Old Vic.
